tiff plugin does not support Mozzila4

Dear Vinay
I tried installing TIFF PLUGIN at MOZILLA ver.4 in UBUNTU 11.04.It installed showing some pop up message of error.While tried to open tiff images,it could not open.
But the same plugin works fine at MOZILLA 3.6.Kindly help.
